About Light Hazel

My light hazel eyes usually look about in the city of Philadelphia, where I live with two cats, Claude Lemieux (say it slowly and think about it) and Arthur (who came with the boring name) in a perfect little (667 sq ft) condo in Old City.

I’ve been alive since 1955, living in Philly since 1981, working at the same financial services company since 1987, living in the same condo since 1993, and writing about sports as TheSportsDiva since 1998. So I’m overly grounded, you might say. But I overthink, a lot. And I’ve been thinking lately about finding a way to use that energy in a way that it goes out rather than spinning around in my brain.

Thus we have Light Hazel, a place where I’ll talk about anything but sports. Talk back.
